Well, bad times have come. Main high-paying files hosts closed their affiliate programs or banned US IPs. Now, posters and webmasters earn on files less money if it was a month ago. Many people lost this source of earning because of file hosts’ owners, which banned many affiliates accounts or removed thousands of files even not paying out a dime from accounts balance.
As I wrote earlier it’s time to think about other earning sources. For example, it could be forex trading. So, last month I wasted some of my time for researches. I’ve known some info.

4shared.com – Deleting files with copyright and waits in line at the FBI.
Crocko.com – Called to testify in the next 90 days and it will open doors. Pro FBI.
EnterUpload.com – Down.
FileJungle.com – Affiliate program was closed. Deleting multiple files. Banning Accounts. Locked in the U.S.

Well, main files hosts close their affiliate program, block USA Ips, delete files… Why? It seems, that their owner are scared by MU case. But, is it really so serious? Yesterday, I’ve read some thinkings from the owner of big file host, which is not going to stop working with affiliates. And, he thinks that owners of files host, which have already stopped affiliate programms, simply decided under the guise of a MU situation to deceive their partners and stole nonpaid money. Little later, they will open new file sharing services with other names and start to work again. Of course, it can be quite profitable for him. Because of:
- many people already have their premiums for quite long period (1 year and more). So, the file host premium level payment are quite lower when it was at start;
- top files hosts need to wait to see what will be with MU owners and what SOPA/PIPA (DMCA and others) will do with sharing services.

“WASHINGTON—Seven individuals and two corporations have been charged in the United States with running an international organized criminal enterprise allegedly responsible for massive worldwide online piracy of numerous types of copyrighted works through Megaupload.com and other related sites, generating more than $175 million in criminal proceeds and causing more than half a billion dollars in harm to copyright owners, the U.S. Justice Department and FBI announced today.

The individuals and two corporations — Megaupload Limited and Vestor Limited — were indicted by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia on Jan. 5, 2012, and charged with engaging in a racketeering conspiracy, conspiring to commit copyright infringement, conspiring to commit money laundering, and two substantive counts of criminal copyright infringement. The individuals each face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit racketeering, five years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit copyright infringement, 20 years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering, and five years in prison on each of the substantive charges of criminal copyright infringement.

Shit, shit, shit! I was wrong when I decided that Wupload probation term was over! But, my main rule for new files hosts was affirmed one more time. If you remember, I’ve mentioned here (article about Wupload), that I prefer to work with files hosts which work stably not less than 6 months. Wupload started its testing in May. It is November now.
